09th April 2010
It's a washed up, last ditch and squalid piece of legislation from an industry in terminal decline - that of corporate pimping on other peoples talent.
You are free to copy, remix and share Neophyte recordings, as long as you credit the artists. If you intend to use Neophyte Recordings to make money then you need to discuss remuneration with us.

Thorn Releases Crow Remembered EP
17th Feb 2010
Neophyte are proud to announce the release of the new EP from Thorn. The six tracks (including a bonus remix) mark a departure (again) towards more aggresive territory with guitar, bass and drum arrangements on two of the tracks. Field recordings and soundscapes are still a significant component of the Thorn sound.
Myspace Round-up January 2010
Jan 2010
Two links for you this time. The first is for The Hodge Project - an excellent bass player and long time Neophyte collaborator. As you can see from his page Gary has played with some very famous people! Through the magic of Myspace we have found Bingiman again - long time friend and once dread at the controls of the now defunct bingi.com.
Neophyte Steppers - Still in Production
Dec 2010
Recent events have put the release of the new album back somewhat. However - look out for a new track to be released on Walt Jabsco's Rides Again. On Neophyte Steppers rid the world of swine fluthe Steppers will be approximating the sort of dub plates that they remember played at punk gigs in the late 70's and early 80's, Tubby, Jammy, Scientist, Mikey Dread ... With MC contributions (hopefully) from Errol Judah (Kifaru), Panjabi MC, UK Warriors and others.

Marz Imprints
July 2009. Serious music for people in big red glasses...
Kevin Harrison taught me everything I know about going off in the opposite direction (musically, that is). He is now producing work out of Marz Imprints - please pay him a visit where you will find a lot of great music, including some of our early experimental, musical and noise collaborations (Neo, the Urban Terrorists).
Incidentally, please feel free to contact us to discuss releasing your own work - or forming a micro-label alliance, particularly if you point in the right musical direction somewhere along the Coventry/Leicester axis.
Myspace round-up June 2009
June 2009. More stuff to listen too
Lee N. Retna and the Spirals - a vehicle for songwriter Neil Hunter (ex of Coventry bands The Baptists, The Tendermen, Monkey's Grin and others) . If you don't come away thinking Hangover Hotel is pure genius then you are not listening properly.
isotope-x are previewing their new album 'riot in dub' until its imminent release. This is great music by Kevin Harrison (see Marz above) assisted by Neol Davies (The Selecter) and Horace Panter (The Specials)
Neil McNaught has some nice pieces up - it would be good to hear some new stuff soon. Finally, I've put up a Neophyte Recordings page, but I'm hating the interface.
